Blackjack is played all over the world and it is incredibly popular online as it has almost no house edge. The game is dealer versus player so there's no need to get wound up about the hands that other players have at all.
Playing blackjack
The initial step when playing blackjack is to draw up the rules of betting and decide on the relevant playing table. The next step is to purchase chips from the card dealer, put down your bet and then have cards dealt to you. The aim is to get a hand value of 21 or close to but not having cards which total more than 21 and ultimately, beating the dealer with your score. Blackjack rules
When getting involved in a game of blackjack in a casino you will be asked to place your bet initially prior to receiving your cards. It won't make a difference if you show your hand to other players or even the croupier because the dealer cannot affect the way his hand is played at any point. The rules vary according to the casino you are in and you might be playing 'dealer stands on all 17s' for instance, where the dealer gets cards until he hits 17 or above or you could play 'dealer hits soft 17' where the participants have to wait until a soft total of 17 is reached by the dealer. At the most basic level the dealer must keep on playing until he gets to a minimum of 17 or gets more than 21 and busts.
